Showcasing work by 100 talented artists, all of whom have been specially selected by an expert-led selection committee, each edition of The Other Art Fair provides art lovers with the opportunity to discover and buy art directly from the very best emerging and unrepresented artists - your chance to invest in the maker!

Supporting our exhibiting artists, every edition of the fair features an internationally renowned Guest Artist, each launching their own limited edition works of art created exclusively for the fair.

Past Guest Artists include Abdul Abdullah, Martin Parr, Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk and Polly Morgan. 

Our 2018 Melbourne Guest Artist will be announced shortly!


A dynamic program of site specific art projects and installation pieces for visitors to interact with and examine whilst roaming the fair. Past projects have included the secret Green Room - a hidden artist installation-cum-absinthe bar, IMA Studio's reflective relaxation area, Mark Powell's 'The Sorting Office' and Gavin Turk's Project Beard.

A curated program of music from leading DJs and emerging musicians, alongside unique performance art pieces fusing video, theatre, music and visual art. The fair's 2017 Melbourne launch featured new performance art by Blender Studios Marcus Encel, Friday Night Late with The Harpoons and a Saturday afternoon jam with Simon Winkler and Lauren Taylor of RRR radio.
